These Baiyar Buyer Terms (“Terms”) govern the use of payment services, Checkout, Payment Links, and related services provided by PT Digital Platform Nusantara (“Baiyar”, “We”, “Us”) to any person making a purchase or payment through Baiyar (“Customer”, “You”). By accessing a Checkout, opening a Payment Link, creating or continuing a Transaction, making a payment, or otherwise using Baiyar services as a Customer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. These Terms should be read together with the Refund, Cancellation & Dispute Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other terms presented for the relevant service.
Table of Contents
1. About Baiyar
Baiyar provides technology that supports electronic transactions and payments.
Through Baiyar, Customers may access payment pages provided for a Transaction and select an available payment method.
Payment methods may be provided through one or more Payment Providers, including banks, payment service providers, payment networks, payment instrument issuers, or other service providers used to process payments.
Payment method availability may vary depending on:
- the type of Transaction;
- payment amount;
- location;
- device;
- Payment Provider;
- transaction time;
- service availability; and
- other operational or security factors.
Baiyar acts as a technology platform and a payment-receiving intermediary for the Business Partner. Baiyar is not the seller of the products or services you buy and does not act as Merchant of Record. The seller is the Business Partner whose name is shown on the Checkout or Payment Link.
Baiyar is not a bank and does not treat Customer payments as savings accounts, investment products, or other financial products except for services specifically provided through the relevant Transaction.

3. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Services, you represent that:
- the information you provide is accurate;

- you use the Services for lawful purposes;
- you understand the Transaction information before making payment; and
- you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not continue using the Services.
If you make a payment on behalf of another person or business, you represent that you are authorized to make that payment.
4. Product and Service Information
Information about the purchased product or service may be displayed on the Checkout, Payment Link, or a page provided by the Business Partner.
Such information may include:
- product or service name;
- description;
- price;
- quantity;
- additional fees;
- applicable taxes;
- delivery terms;
- usage terms;
- cancellation terms;
- refund terms; and
- other relevant information.
You should review this information before making payment.
If any information is unclear or appears incorrect, you should contact the Business Partner before completing the payment.
5. Relationship with the Business Partner
The Business Partner is the seller of the products or services you buy. The sale or service agreement is made between the Customer and the Business Partner. Baiyar is not a party to that agreement and is not the seller, provider, or producer of the products or services.
The Business Partner appoints Baiyar to receive Customer payments in the Business Partner's name through Payment Providers. A payment confirmed as successful through the Service is treated as payment to the Business Partner for that Transaction.
The Business Partner is responsible for the products, services, price, delivery, order fulfillment, quality, warranty, tax on its sales, and invoices or proof of purchase. For these matters, you are asked to contact the Business Partner first.
Baiyar may assist Customers with payment-related questions or complaints to the extent supported by the available Services.
Checkout content is configured by the Business Partner. Baiyar does not itself state the quality, legality, or characteristics of the products or services shown, unless Baiyar expressly says otherwise. If you find content that is unlawful, misleading, or suspicious, report it to abuse@baiyar.com.
Using Baiyar as a payment interface does not change the rights and obligations arising from the transaction between the Customer and the Business Partner.
Where Baiyar expressly states that it is responsible for a specific aspect of a Transaction, that statement applies to that aspect.
6. Creating a Transaction
You may create a Transaction through a Checkout or Payment Link.
Before making payment, you should confirm that:
- the selected product or service is correct;
- the quantity is correct;
- the price is correct;
- your information is correct;
- the payment method is correct;
- shipping information is correct where applicable;
- applicable purchase terms have been reviewed; and
- other required information has been checked.
Once payment has been confirmed, changes may no longer be possible.
7. Prices and Fees
Product or service prices are based on the information displayed on the Checkout or relevant payment page.
You may be charged additional fees where applicable and disclosed before payment, including:
- service fees;
- payment method fees;
- taxes;
- delivery fees; or
- other legally applicable charges.
Fees imposed by a bank, card issuer, e-wallet provider, or Payment Provider may be outside Baiyar's control.
You are responsible for reviewing fees displayed by the selected payment provider before completing the Transaction.
8. Payment Methods
You may only use payment methods that you own or are lawfully authorized to use.
Baiyar may provide multiple Payment Methods through Payment Providers.
Payment Methods may change from time to time.
A Payment Method may:
- be unavailable;
- experience an outage;
- have transaction limits;
- involve certain fees;
- require additional verification; or
- be declined by a Payment Provider.
Baiyar does not guarantee that every Payment Method will always be available.
9. Payment Security
You are responsible for protecting your:
- cards;
- bank accounts;
- payment accounts;
- PINs;
- OTPs;
- passwords;
- devices;
- authentication codes; and
- other security credentials.
Baiyar will not ask you to provide an OTP, PIN, password, or confidential payment credential through an unnecessary communication channel.
You must not disclose OTPs, PINs, passwords, or payment credentials to another person.
If you receive a suspicious request or suspect misuse of your payment method, you should immediately contact your bank, payment instrument issuer, Payment Provider, or relevant party.
10. Transaction Confirmation and Status
After a payment is made, the system may display a Transaction status.
Statuses may include:
- pending;
- successful;
- failed;
- expired;
- cancelled;
- refunded;
- under review; or
- another status used by the Services.
You must not treat a Transaction as successful solely based on:
- a screenshot;
- a message from another person;
- an unofficial notification; or
- payment evidence that cannot be verified.
You should rely on the status displayed through the payment page, the payment receipt email, or official Baiyar or Payment Provider notification.
11. Successful Payments
A payment is considered successful when Baiyar or the relevant Payment Provider has provided a corresponding Transaction confirmation.
A successful payment is treated as received by the Business Partner. After a successful payment, the Business Partner may proceed with the relevant product or service in accordance with the Transaction terms.
In certain circumstances, a previously successful Transaction may subsequently be cancelled, refunded, or reversed through a Payment Provider, bank, payment instrument issuer, fraud review, or other lawful mechanism.
12. Failed or Expired Payments
A payment may fail or expire due to:
- insufficient balance;
- payment method limits;
- authentication failure;
- Payment Provider issues;
- network issues;
- payment expiration;
- security checks;
- incorrect payment information; or
- other reasons.
If a payment fails or expires, you may try again where the option is available.
You should not make a duplicate payment when the status of a previous Transaction remains unclear without first checking its status.
13. Duplicate Transactions
You are responsible for checking the Transaction status before making another payment.
If you make multiple payments for the same Transaction, you may contact the Business Partner or Baiyar for investigation.
Baiyar may verify the relevant transaction records and Payment Provider information.
The handling of duplicate payments may depend on the status of each Transaction and the applicable Payment Provider mechanism.
14. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund and cancellation rules are further governed by the Refund, Cancellation & Dispute Policy.
Your right to receive a refund may depend on:
- the type of product or service;
- Transaction status;
- reason for cancellation;
- Business Partner terms;
- applicable law;
- Payment Provider mechanisms; and
- other relevant circumstances.
You may be required to submit a refund request to the Business Partner where the refund concerns products or services for which the Business Partner is responsible.
A refund for products or services is approved and borne by the Business Partner as the seller. Once the Business Partner approves it, Baiyar may process the return of funds through the Payment Provider, as far as the payment method used allows.
Where Baiyar is responsible for a particular process, you may use the channel designated by Baiyar.
15. Refund Processing
Refunds may be processed through the original payment method or another permitted method.
The time required for a refund to reach you may differ from the time the refund is approved.
Delays may occur due to:
- Payment Providers;
- banks;
- card issuers;
- payment networks;
- e-wallets;
- reconciliation processes; or
- other factors.
You should retain your Transaction information until the refund process is completed.
Baiyar may request additional information to verify a refund request.
16. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals
You may have rights to use chargeback or dispute mechanisms available through your bank, card issuer, Payment Provider, or payment service provider in accordance with applicable terms.
You must not intentionally use a chargeback to obtain products or services without paying.
If you receive a refund and also receive a chargeback for the same Transaction, you must provide information reasonably required to resolve the duplicate recovery.
Baiyar may investigate Transactions subject to chargebacks or payment reversals. The value of a chargeback or reversal on a Transaction is the responsibility of the Business Partner as the seller, unless it results from the Customer's own conduct in breach of these Terms.
17. Transaction Disputes
If you have an issue regarding:
- a product;
- a service;
- delivery;
- quality;
- price;
- refund;
- cancellation; or
- order fulfillment,
you may first contact the Business Partner using the contact information available on the Checkout or Transaction documentation.
For issues relating to Baiyar's payment process, you may contact support@baiyar.com.
You should provide:
- Transaction ID;
- Transaction date;
- payment amount;
- payment method;
- payment evidence where necessary;
- description of the issue; and
- other relevant information.
18. Complaints to Baiyar
Baiyar may receive complaints relating to the Services and payment processes.
Baiyar may investigate by:
- reviewing system records;
- reviewing Payment Provider information;
- contacting the Business Partner;
- requesting additional information from the Customer; or
- taking other reasonable steps.
Not every product or service dispute can be resolved by Baiyar where the underlying responsibility belongs to the Business Partner.
Baiyar will endeavor to direct the Customer to the relevant party or channel where the matter falls outside Baiyar's scope.
19. Prohibited Use
Customers must not use the Services to:
- commit fraud;
- use another person's payment method without authorization;
- conduct fictitious Transactions;
- launder money;
- use proceeds of crime;
- commit chargeback fraud;
- manipulate Transactions;
- intentionally exploit system errors;
- access another person's account or data without authorization;
- attack or disrupt Baiyar or Payment Provider systems;

Customers also must not try to access Baiyar's internal systems, scan or test security without permission, exploit vulnerabilities, send malware, carry out denial-of-service attacks, or copy, modify, or use Baiyar's name, logo, and materials without permission. All rights in Baiyar's materials and systems remain with Baiyar or its licensors. Security vulnerabilities can be reported to abuse@baiyar.com.
Baiyar may restrict or terminate access where misuse is suspected, there is a security risk, a Payment Provider requests it, or the law requires it. A restriction of access does not remove rights a Customer has under law.
20. Personal Data
Baiyar may process Customer Personal Data for purposes related to providing the Services.
This may include processing necessary to:
- process Transactions;
- perform verification;
- provide support;
- prevent fraud;

22. Service Availability
Baiyar will use reasonable efforts to keep the Services available and functioning properly.
However, Baiyar does not guarantee that the Services will:
- always be available;
- be uninterrupted;
- be error-free;
- work with every device;
- or always provide every Payment Method.
Interruptions may be caused by:
- maintenance;
- Payment Providers;
- banks;
- payment networks;
- internet connectivity;
- Customer devices;
- security incidents;
- disasters;
- changes in law; or
- other circumstances beyond Baiyar's reasonable control.
23. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- the accuracy of information provided;
- their use of payment methods;
- account and device security;
- activities conducted using their access;
- payments made with their authorization; and

Customers must not provide access or payment credentials to another person in a manner that violates the rules of the relevant payment provider.

Baiyar will use reasonable efforts to maintain:
- system security;
- accurate Transaction information in its systems;
- reasonable Service availability;
- complaint handling; and
- Personal Data protection in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Baiyar is not responsible for matters outside its reasonable control, including bank, Payment Provider, payment network, Customer device failures, or Business Partner actions, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Baiyar is not responsible for:
- the quality of Business Partner products or services;
- Business Partner delivery delays;
- product information supplied by Business Partners;
- bank or Payment Provider failures;
- payment network interruptions;
- Customer errors in providing information;
- insecure devices;
- third-party actions;
- force majeure events; or
- indirect losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated.

- security requirements;
- legal changes;
- operational requirements; or
- other relevant developments.
The latest version will be published through Baiyar's website or Services.
Where required, Baiyar will provide notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
28. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Customers and Baiyar will first attempt to resolve issues through communication and good-faith discussion.
Customers may contact support@baiyar.com for questions or complaints relating to the Services.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through communication and discussion, it may be resolved through mechanisms available under Indonesian law.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to Customers under applicable law.
29. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
Baiyar's failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
These Terms are not intended to limit rights granted to Customers by applicable law.
If a Transaction has specific terms displayed to the Customer before payment, those specific terms may apply to that Transaction to the extent they do not conflict with applicable law.
